Kenzie

Meet Kenzie 🩷

Kenzie is one of Kira’s beautiful girls, born on August 16, and she is also one of the largest females in the litter.

She is a wonderfully sweet, playful, social little girl with a lovely confident presence. She enjoys being around the other puppies, loves to play, and is just a happy, healthy puppy who is growing beautifully.

Because Kenzie is already one of the bigger girls, we expect her to grow into a medium-to-large dog, likely somewhere around 20–28 kg / 44–62 lbs as an adult. Of course, this is only an estimate.

Kenzie has already received her first puppy vaccination, and our vet was very happy with how healthy and well-developed the entire litter is.

🌧️ RAINY SEASON SPECIAL
If you are an expat living in Costa Rica and would love to adopt Kenzie but the regular adoption fee is difficult for you right now, please talk to us. For these puppies, we are happy to offer the Tico adoption rate of ₡25,000.

Please also remember that adopting a puppy comes with important responsibilities:

  • Once Kenzie is old enough, spaying is mandatory. Charlie’s Angels can help with the cost.
  • Her adopter must continue her deworming and full puppy vaccination program until the series is complete.
  • She will need continued socialization, training, love, patience, and lots of positive experiences as she grows.

Kenzie is already a gorgeous little girl, and with those big puppy paws and her sweet personality, we think she is going to grow into one very beautiful dog. 🩷

FAQ

  • Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?

We are a foster-based rescue, which means we operate without a shelter or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General, Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.

  • Can I visit the animals available for adoption?

Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.

    For more information visit our:
    DOG ADOPTION PAGE
    CAT ADOPTION PAGE

  • Do you rescue wild animals too?

We focus on rescuing dogs and cats, but we can point you in the right direction if you’ve found a wild animal in distress. We recommend contacting:

    ‍Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary in Uvita at +506 2200 3271
Rescate Wildlife Rescue Center via WhatsApp at +506 6058 3898
SINAC (National System of Conservation Areas) at (+506) 2522-6500 for wildlife emergencies.

    ‍
We are a small, volunteer-run organization with limited resources, but we do our best to help whenever possible. To report a stray animal or find more information, please visit our CONTACT PAGE.

  • I saw a dog / cat on social media up for adoption but can’t find it on the website.

    There are two possible reasons:

    1. We haven’t had time to upload the animal to the website, but it may still be available.
    ‍
    2. The animal is in a foster-to-adopt trial or has already found a home. You’re still welcome to apply using our general adoption application. Then we can match you with a similar dog / cat.

  • Are you a officially registered non-profit organization?

Yes! Charlies Angels Resque is officially registered under the legal name Asociación Charlie’s Angels CR, cédula jurídica 3-002-757592.

  • How are you funded?

We rely entirely on donations from generous individuals and the occasional fundraising. Every contribution makes a big difference. For more informatiopn visit our DONATION PAGE

  • Are Donations Tax-Deductible?

Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.

However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
