Kim
playful & happy
Kim
Kim is one of the puppies from Kira's litter, a beautiful Shepherd mix, who looked for shelter at a ladies home when she was very pregnant.
Now 6 weeks later, all 11 puppies are beautiful, chubby, fluffy, social, playful, wonderfully goofy, and simply a joy to be around.
They all have fantastic appetites and are now completely weaned and eating puppy food on their own.Their current weights range from 2.3 kg to 3.4 kg (5.1–7.5 lbs). Based on their size and build, we expect them to grow into medium-to-large dogs, roughly 18–28 kg / 40–62 lbs as adults (of course this is only an estimate.)
They have all received their first vaccination, and the vet was VERY happy to see how healthy and well-developed they are. 🙏🏼
🌧️ **RAINY SEASON SPECIAL: If you are an expat living in Costa Rica and would like to adopt one of these puppies but the regular adoption fee is difficult for you right now, please talk to us. For these puppies, we are happy to offer the Tico adoption rate of ₡25,000.
Please also keep in mind that adopting a puppy comes with some important responsibilities.
Once the puppy is old enough, spaying / neutering is mandatory, Charlie’s Angels can help with the cost.
Adopters must also continue the puppy’s deworming and vaccination program until the full puppy vaccination series has been completed and proper immunity has been established.

FAQ
Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?
We are a foster-based rescue, which means we operate without a shelter or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General, Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.
Can I visit the animals available for adoption?
Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.
For more information visit our:

For urgent cases, please refer to our Emergency Guidelines on the CONTACT PAGE.
We are a small, volunteer-run organization with limited resources, but we do our best to help whenever possible. To report a stray animal or find more information, please visit our CONTACT PAGE.I saw a dog / cat on social media up for adoption but can’t find it on the website.
There are two possible reasons:
1. We haven’t had time to upload the animal to the website, but it may still be available.
2. The animal is in a foster-to-adopt trial or has already found a home. You’re still welcome to apply using our general adoption application. Then we can match you with a similar dog / cat.Are you a officially registered non-profit organization?
Yes! Charlies Angels Resque is officially registered under the legal name Asociación Charlie’s Angels CR, cédula jurídica 3-002-757592.
How are you funded?
We rely entirely on donations from generous individuals and the occasional fundraising. Every contribution makes a big difference. For more informatiopn visit our DONATION PAGE
Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.
However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
