Zorro
looks like a Mini Shepherd
Zorro
Zorro was seen wandering the streets of our neighborhood after being clearly abandoned. Thankfully, he made his way to one of our foster homes, where Beth took him in right away.
He has since been fully vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed, and moved into a foster home with a little boy who loves him very much.
Zorro looks bigger in photos than he really is. In real life, he is a smaller medium-sized Mini Shepherd and a very easy dog to have around.
He is well behaved indoors, doesn’t destroy things, and sleeps through the night.
He is friendly with people, walks nicely on leash, and enjoys playing with other playful dogs.
Zorro is curious about the cats in his foster home, but since those cats want nothing to do with him, it is hard to fully test. Based on his behavior, we think he could do well in a home with dog-friendly cats.
Overall, Zorro is a sweet, well-mannered, playful little dog who has settled beautifully into foster care and is ready for a home of his own.

FAQ
Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?
We are a foster-based rescue, which means we operate without a shelter or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General, Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.
Can I visit the animals available for adoption?
Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.

Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.
However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
