SUKI

Meet Suki  — your daily dose of laughter, love, and adventure
Suki is the kind of dog people remember. She’s funny without trying, sweet to her core, and has a playful spirit that makes every day brighter. Born around February 2025, she’s a perfect medium-sized 15.5 kg (34 lb) companion who’s ready to find her forever family.

The practical stuff (aka: she’s a dream):
•  Vaccinated & spayed
•  House-trained
•  Crate trained
•  Knows basic commands
•  Excellent recall
•  Walks beautifully on- and off-leash
•  Gentle with small dogs
•  Playful with dogs once she’s had a chance to warm up

What really makes Suki special:

Suki is a joyful mix of affection, curiosity, and goofy independence. She’ll happily chase butterflies, toss toys into the air just to catch them herself, fetch balls with enthusiasm, and invent her own hilarious games in the yard. Watching her play is pure entertainment.
She’s expressive, smart, and full of personality — the kind of dog who makes you laugh without even realizing it. And yes… she turns heads everywhere she goes because she’s absolutely stunning.

At home, Suki settles beautifully. She’s calm, relaxed, and loves being part of the daily rhythm of family life. She enjoys companionship, routine, and simply being nearby — soaking in the comfort of belonging.

If you’re looking for a dog who can be your adventure buddy by day and your cozy companion by night, Suki might just be the one you’ve been waiting for.
Suki is ready to meet her people.

FAQ

  • Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?

We are a foster-based rescue, which means we operate without a shelter or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General, Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.

  • Can I visit the animals available for adoption?

Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.

    For more information visit our:
    DOG ADOPTION PAGE
    CAT ADOPTION PAGE

  • Do you rescue wild animals too?

We focus on rescuing dogs and cats, but we can point you in the right direction if you’ve found a wild animal in distress. We recommend contacting:

Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary in Uvita at +506 2200 3271
Rescate Wildlife Rescue Center via WhatsApp at +506 6058 3898
SINAC (National System of Conservation Areas) at (+506) 2522-6500 for wildlife emergencies.

To report a dog or cat in need please visit our CONTACT PAGE

  • I found a stray dog / cat. Can you help me?

For urgent cases, please refer to our Emergency Guidelines on the CONTACT PAGE.

We are a small, volunteer-run organization with limited resources, but we do our best to help whenever possible. To report a stray animal or find more information, please visit our CONTACT PAGE.

  • I saw a dog / cat on social media up for adoption but can’t find it on the website.

    There are two possible reasons:

    1. We haven’t had time to upload the animal to the website, but it may still be available.

    2. The animal is in a foster-to-adopt trial or has already found a home. You’re still welcome to apply using our general adoption application. Then we can match you with a similar dog / cat.

  • Are you a officially registered non-profit organization?

Yes! Charlies Angels Resque is officially registered under the legal name Asociación Charlie’s Angels CR, cédula jurídica 3-002-757592.

  • How are you funded?

We rely entirely on donations from generous individuals and the occasional fundraising. Every contribution makes a big difference. For more informatiopn visit our DONATION PAGE

  • Are Donations Tax-Deductible?

Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.

However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
