Meet Poppy, the last of this adorable litter still waiting for a home.
Poppy is around four months old and currently weighs about 4 kilos. We expect her to grow into a medium-sized dog of approximately 12 kilos.
She is a lovely, social puppy who is ready to leave her siblings behind and begin life with a family of her own. At this age, she is still learning about the world and would benefit from a home that has the time and patience to continue her training and help her grow into a confident, well-adjusted dog.
All of Poppy’s sisters have already found their families, and now we would really love for her to have the same chance.

Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?
We are a foster-based rescue, which means we operate without a shelter or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General, Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.
Can I visit the animals available for adoption?
Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.

There are two possible reasons:
1. We haven’t had time to upload the animal to the website, but it may still be available.
2. The animal is in a foster-to-adopt trial or has already found a home. You’re still welcome to apply using our general adoption application. Then we can match you with a similar dog / cat.Are you a officially registered non-profit organization?

Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.
However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
