Hazel is one of Molly’s puppies, born the very same night after we rescued their mum while she was heavily pregnant. She’s the only girl in the litter — and she certainly knows how to keep her brothers in line!
This sweet little lady is healthy, playful, and full of character. Hazel is curious, affectionate, and loves being part of the action. She’s an absolute sweetheart who will grow into a loving, medium-sized companion.
The puppies are currently in foster care in San Isidro, Pérez Zeledón (CR), but we can assist with transport arrangements if you live further away.

You can welcome Hazel into your home for a 14-day trial period to see how everything goes. If she’s the right fit, the adoption becomes official — if not, she returns safely to foster care.

FAQ
Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?
We are a foster-based rescue, which means we operate without a shelter or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General, Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.
Can I visit the animals available for adoption?
Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.

We are a small, volunteer-run organization with limited resources, but we do our best to help whenever possible. To report a stray animal or find more information, please visit our CONTACT PAGE.I saw a dog / cat on social media up for adoption but can’t find it on the website.
There are two possible reasons:
1. We haven’t had time to upload the animal to the website, but it may still be available.
2. The animal is in a foster-to-adopt trial or has already found a home. You’re still welcome to apply using our general adoption application. Then we can match you with a similar dog / cat.Are you a officially registered non-profit organization?

How are you funded?

Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.
However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
