Dylan and his brother Lucas were found running zigzag across a busy road after being abandoned…
Thankfully, they’re now safe and growing up in one of our best puppy foster homes 🙏🏼
Dylan looks a lot like his brother, just a little darker, with that same adorable scruffy coat. He might have some wire-haired Dachshund in him, but a bit less long-bodied.
He’s a really lovely mix of playful and easygoing. He enjoys playing with other dogs and exploring, but at home he settles nicely and isn’t overly wild.
Dylan is social, sweet, and just a very easy puppy to be around.
We could also imagine him being a good option for people who are a bit sensitive to allergies, thanks to his wiry coat.

Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?
We are a foster-based rescue, which means we operate without a shelter or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General, PĂ©rez ZeledĂłn, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.
Can I visit the animals available for adoption?
Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home. Â

We are a small, volunteer-run organization with limited resources, but we do our best to help whenever possible. To report a stray animal or find more information, please visit our CONTACT PAGE.I saw a dog / cat on social media up for adoption but can’t find it on the website.
There are two possible reasons:
1. We haven’t had time to upload the animal to the website, but it may still be available.

2. The animal is in a foster-to-adopt trial or has already found a home. You’re still welcome to apply using our general adoption application. Then we can match you with a similar dog / cat.Are you a officially registered non-profit organization?

Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.
However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica. Â
