Yoda
Yoda - Forever Home, I Seek.
male · 14 kg / 30 lbs • 4 yrs • neutered · vaccinated, dewormed, on flea and tick prevention • calm and well behaved indoors • dog and people friendly (cats not tested yet but can be done on request) • not afraid of noise and thunder • intelligent · fun and affectionate
Yoda is a happy, healthy, and playful little guy who wakes up every day with a wagging tail and a big smile. And no wonder as he was recently freed from sad life on a chain… he is now soaking up his new freedom while waiting for a forever home. He loves playing with his dog friends and enjoys just being a dog. Like his namesake, Yoda’s expressive ears are a big part of his charm.
This handsome little man is a fast learner. He’s already picked up a few hand signals and will politely sit and wait for his food. He’s so gentle that even a child can walk him, as you’ll see in one of the photos.
Although Yoda’s hearing isn’t fully developed, you’d never guess it by how happy, playful, and alert he is. A fenced yard is a must for him, and so is a leash when he’s out and about - being off-leash could put him at risk of running into danger.
Yoda is a relaxed and easygoing companion. He has amazing bladder control, so feel free to sleep in!
He’s up for adventures if you are, but he’s also perfectly happy just being part of your daily life.
He doesn’t need constant stimulation—your love and presence are enough to keep him balanced and content.
“Something more precious than wealth I bring you,” says wise little Yoda to the lucky person who chooses him.

FAQ
Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?
We are a foster-based rescue, which means we operate without a shelter or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General, Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.
Can I visit the animals available for adoption?
Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.
For more information visit our:

There are two possible reasons:
1. We haven’t had time to upload the animal to the website, but it may still be available.
2. The animal is in a foster-to-adopt trial or has already found a home. You’re still welcome to apply using our general adoption application. Then we can match you with a similar dog / cat.Are you a officially registered non-profit organization?
Yes! Charlies Angels Resque is officially registered under the legal name Asociación Charlie’s Angels CR, cédula jurídica 3-002-757592.
How are you funded?
We rely entirely on donations from generous individuals and the occasional fundraising. Every contribution makes a big difference. For more informatiopn visit our DONATION PAGE
Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.
However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
