Wilson - the gorgeous Chocolate Lab is now ready for adoption! YAY!
Just three weeks ago, a woman found this severely malnourished dog near Las Tumbas in the Diamante Valley. Despite his fragile condition, he approached her with a wagging tail and a gentle look, as if to say: “Thank you for seeing me.” That's how Wilson came into our care.
Since then, Wilson is thriving in a loving foster home - and what a change. With good food, a soft bed and lots of love, he recovered beautifully.
His foster parents say he is one of the sweetest and most loyal dogs they have ever met. He is affectionate, playful and eager to socialize with people.
Wilson is about 2-3 years old, with the heart of a puppy and the manners of a gentleman. He loves walks, is completely house-trained and he gets on wonderfully with other dogs, in fact, his best buddy is a little 15 pound lowrider male from next door, they play all day.
He definately is a chocolate Lab mix, maybe with a touch of German Shepherd - whatever the mix, it works. He is handsome, loyal and full of love.
And he is a very smart boy and already knows basic commands. He is very food motivated which makes training very easy.
His foster family would adopt him in a heartbeat if they lived in Costa Rica permanently.
And now it's your turn…
Wilson is ready to become your loyal companion, hiking buddy, cuddle buddy and best friend. He is waiting for a forever home where he will never be forgotten.

FAQ
Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?
We are a foster-based rescue, which means we work without a shelter facility or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General / Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.
Can I visit the animals available for adoption?
Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.

However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
