Meet Taco — the definition of a good boy 🐾
This handsome guy is calm, polite, and has the sweetest soul. He walks perfectly on a leash, is already great off-leash, and once he learns his name (he’s still new to it!), we’re sure he’ll be absolutely flawless.
Taco greets everyone — men, women, strangers, friends — like he’s known them forever. He’s quiet, respectful, and has the best house manners. No barking, no marking, no jumping on furniture. He even sits patiently when you take him to the store — unprompted!

Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?
We are a foster-based rescue, which means we operate without a shelter or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General, Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.
Can I visit the animals available for adoption?
Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.

We are a small, volunteer-run organization with limited resources, but we do our best to help whenever possible. To report a stray animal or find more information, please visit our CONTACT PAGE.I saw a dog / cat on social media up for adoption but can’t find it on the website.
There are two possible reasons:
1. We haven’t had time to upload the animal to the website, but it may still be available.
2. The animal is in a foster-to-adopt trial or has already found a home. You’re still welcome to apply using our general adoption application. Then we can match you with a similar dog / cat.Are you a officially registered non-profit organization?

Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.
However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
