Meet Maddox – Another Sweet Brindle Boy of Maxi’s litter! 🐾💛
Looking for a gentle, playful pup with a heart-melting little face? Say hello to Maddox!
With his beautiful brindle coat and kind, curious eyes, Maddox is the kind of puppy that instantly wins you over. He’s got the sweetest demeanor and loves a good cuddle just as much as a game of tag with his siblings.
Born around February 24th, Maddox is just a little over two months old now and weighs approximately 4 kg (8.8 lbs). He’s growing up with his incredible lab-mix mom, Maxi, and a whole gang of lively siblings — learning all the best puppy skills!
The foster family's little girl often visits the puppies, so Maddox is already familiar with playing with children!
We expect Maddox to grow into a medium-sized dog, roughly 20+ kg (45 lbs) — the perfect size for hikes, beach days, and sofa snuggles.
Maddox is healthy, affectionate, and more than ready to find a forever family who will love him for the wonderful pup he is.

FAQ
Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?
We are a foster-based rescue, which means we work without a shelter facility or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General / Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.
Can I visit the animals available for adoption?
Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.

We are a small, volunteer-run organization with limited resources, but we do our best to help whenever possible. To report a stray animal or find more information, please visit our CONTACT PAGE.I saw a dog / cat on social media up for adoption but can’t find it on the website.
There are two possible reasons:
1. We haven’t had time to upload the animal to the website, but it may still be available.
2. The animal is in a foster-to-adopt trial or has already found a home. You’re still welcome to apply using our general adoption application. Then we can match you with a similar dog / cat.Are you a officially registered non-profit organization?

Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.
However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
