We rescued Luna 3 years ago and she was adopted by a woman from Europe. When her adopter had to leave Costa Rica unexpectedly for health reasons, she was unable to take Luna with her, so Luna is now looking for a new home.
Luna loves absolutely everyone, she is an extremely friendly and playful dog. She loves long walks, river swims and beach runs.
She gets along with all dogs, cats and children. She would be well suited for any person, a family, and would be the happiest with other animals to also play with.
She loves the indoors and a comfortable fluffy bed to lay on.
She loves cuddles and lots of attention.

FAQ
Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?
We are a foster-based rescue, which means we operate without a shelter or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General, Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.
Can I visit the animals available for adoption?
Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.

There are two possible reasons:
1. We haven’t had time to upload the animal to the website, but it may still be available.
2. The animal is in a foster-to-adopt trial or has already found a home. You’re still welcome to apply using our general adoption application. Then we can match you with a similar dog / cat.Are you a officially registered non-profit organization?

Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.
However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
