Meet Lukas 🐾
Lukas is the whole package – smart, loyal, and endlessly funny.
This energetic little adventurer loves life, whether it’s exploring new places, hopping in the car for a ride, or curling up for a snuggly cuddle session. He’s got a unique, almost cat-like charm – yes, he purrs and winds around your legs – and he’s as brave as he is adorable.
Healthy, robust, and always ready for fun, Lukas will make sure there’s never a dull moment in your life.
True to his terrier spirit, he likes a good incentive before following commands, but his ultimate goal is simple: to be the center of his person’s world.
Lukas enjoys the company of other dogs, but because he loves to be the center of attention, we feel he would truly thrive as the only dog in the household. He recently had a short adoption trial and was very loved, but the family’s older dog had a back injury and couldn’t keep up with his playful energy.
It just wasn’t the right match – but it showed us exactly what kind of home will make him happiest.
If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will keep you smiling, exploring, and feeling loved every single day, Lukas is waiting to meet you.

FAQ
Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?
We are a foster-based rescue, which means we operate without a shelter or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General, Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.
Can I visit the animals available for adoption?
Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.
For more information visit our:

There are two possible reasons:
1. We haven’t had time to upload the animal to the website, but it may still be available.
2. The animal is in a foster-to-adopt trial or has already found a home. You’re still welcome to apply using our general adoption application. Then we can match you with a similar dog / cat.Are you a officially registered non-profit organization?
Yes! Charlies Angels Resque is officially registered under the legal name Asociación Charlie’s Angels CR, cédula jurídica 3-002-757592.
How are you funded?
We rely entirely on donations from generous individuals and the occasional fundraising. Every contribution makes a big difference. For more informatiopn visit our DONATION PAGE
Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.
However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
