Gordy is a sweet, social, and all-around amazing pup who's ready to find his forever family! This smart little guy has been growing up in a loving foster home where he’s made friends with everyone—adult dogs, chickens, and especially one very special cat who happens to be his best friend and playmate. They zoom around together all day- until they pass our next to each other!
Gordy is affectionate, curious, and always up for an adventure. Whether it's a walk in the woods, a play session in the yard, or snuggling up after a fun day, he's all in. He’s also a quick learner, which makes him a joy to train and bond with.
Expected to weigh around 20 kg (44 lbs) when fully grown, Gordy will be the perfect medium-sized companion for someone who loves cuddles as much as they love exploring.

Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?
We are a foster-based rescue, which means we work without a shelter facility or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General / Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.
Can I visit the animals available for adoption?
Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.

We are a small, volunteer-run organization with limited resources, but we do our best to help whenever possible. To report a stray animal or find more information, please visit our CONTACT PAGE.I saw a dog / cat on social media up for adoption but can’t find it on the website.
There are two possible reasons:
1. We haven’t had time to upload the animal to the website, but it may still be available.
2. The animal is in a foster-to-adopt trial or has already found a home. You’re still welcome to apply using our general adoption application. Then we can match you with a similar dog / cat.Are you a officially registered non-profit organization?

Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.
However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
