EVA'S RESCUE STORY 🐾
When Eva was first spotted, she was hiding deep in the bushes—alone except for a single puppy by her side. No one knows what happened to the rest of her litter, but it was clear this little family had been left to fend for themselves.
Thanks to a dedicated volunteer, who returned day after day, the dense hedge was eventually cut away to reach the pup tucked deep inside. The puppy was safely brought to a foster home and soon found a loving forever family. But Eva wasn’t ready yet. She stayed hidden, frightened and unsure.
Day after day, the volunteer returned and left food for Eva in a crate, covered with a plastic tarp since the rainy season has already started here and we have hevy downpours almost every afternoon… Slowly one day, Eva finally approached the volunteer and gently took food from her hand. Not long after, she allowed herself to be touched…and then let the volunteer lift her into the car and take her to safety.
Eva was very cooperative at the vet and settled into her amazing foster home with SamiTe, who can’t say enough good things about her. Eva can still be a little shy at first, but she is pure love and joy once she opens up. She’s incredibly affectionate, playful, and eager to be part of your world. She loves car rides and gets along with everyone she meets - people and dogs alike.
She has wonderful house manners, never destroys anything, and absolutely adores her crate. She enjoys her walks, but what she really lives for is fetch. Throw her a ball or a stick, and she’ll happily bring it right back to you every time, tail wagging.
Eva is a small-medium girl at just 13 kg (28,5 lbs), already spayed, and fully up to date on all her vet care.
She's come a long way from that hedge…and now she’s ready to find a forever home of her own.
Could that be you?

Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.
