Dolly

Sweet Dolly!

Female | Spayed | About 3 years old- 9 kg / 18 lbs - Vaccinated, dewormed, flea & tick prevention up to date- House trained - Super friendly & playful with dogs | Affectionate | Sweet-natured | Alerts when needed

Beautiful Dolly is the proud mom of Poppy, Dani, Daisy, and Iris. Sadly, her former owner treated her poorly and never had her spayed, so she had litter after litter. Thankfully, he finally agreed to surrender Dolly and her puppies to us — and now it’s her turn to find the loving home she’s always deserved.

Dolly is an incredibly loyal little companion. She’ll happily stay by your side all day, quietly keeping you company and following you wherever you go. She loves attention but is also respectful and gentle when you share it with other dogs.

Dolly loves exploring the yard and going on little adventures, but she’s also wonderfully responsive when called!

This sweet, affectionate girl has such a loving heart and would be perfect for someone who wants a close, loyal companion — the kind of dog who makes every day a little warmer.

FAQ

  • Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?

We are a foster-based rescue, which means we operate without a shelter or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General, Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.

  • Can I visit the animals available for adoption?

Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.

    For more information visit our:
    DOG ADOPTION PAGE
    CAT ADOPTION PAGE

  • Do you rescue wild animals too?

We focus on rescuing dogs and cats, but we can point you in the right direction if you’ve found a wild animal in distress. We recommend contacting:

Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary in Uvita at +506 2200 3271
Rescate Wildlife Rescue Center via WhatsApp at +506 6058 3898
SINAC (National System of Conservation Areas) at (+506) 2522-6500 for wildlife emergencies.

To report a dog or cat in need please visit our CONTACT PAGE

  • I found a stray dog / cat. Can you help me?

For urgent cases, please refer to our Emergency Guidelines on the CONTACT PAGE.

We are a small, volunteer-run organization with limited resources, but we do our best to help whenever possible. To report a stray animal or find more information, please visit our CONTACT PAGE.

  • I saw a dog / cat on social media up for adoption but can’t find it on the website.

    There are two possible reasons:

    1. We haven’t had time to upload the animal to the website, but it may still be available.

    2. The animal is in a foster-to-adopt trial or has already found a home. You’re still welcome to apply using our general adoption application. Then we can match you with a similar dog / cat.

  • Are you a officially registered non-profit organization?

Yes! Charlies Angels Resque is officially registered under the legal name Asociación Charlie’s Angels CR, cédula jurídica 3-002-757592.

  • How are you funded?

We rely entirely on donations from generous individuals and the occasional fundraising. Every contribution makes a big difference. For more informatiopn visit our DONATION PAGE

  • Are Donations Tax-Deductible?

Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.

However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
