Just look at that face — isn’t he adorable? This sweet boy used to roam the streets of Rivas, searching for food in people’s trash. Thankfully, someone stepped forward and offered to foster him, and we were able to bring him into a safe, loving environment.
He’s already been to the vet, got neutered and fully vaccinated, and he’s put on some much-needed weight. Enzo is an absolute cutie with the most beautiful eyes.
His foster home has a fenced property, so he doesn’t get taken on leash walks at the moment. He’s totally happy living that way, but with a bit of patience, we’re sure he’ll learn how to enjoy walks by your side if that fits your lifestyle better.

Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?
We are a foster-based rescue, which means we operate without a shelter or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General, Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.
Can I visit the animals available for adoption?
Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.

We are a small, volunteer-run organization with limited resources, but we do our best to help whenever possible. To report a stray animal or find more information, please visit our CONTACT PAGE.I saw a dog / cat on social media up for adoption but can’t find it on the website.
There are two possible reasons:
1. We haven’t had time to upload the animal to the website, but it may still be available.
2. The animal is in a foster-to-adopt trial or has already found a home. You’re still welcome to apply using our general adoption application. Then we can match you with a similar dog / cat.Are you a officially registered non-profit organization?

Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.
However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
