DAISY
🩷 Meet Daisy
Daisy is a sweet, affectionate young dog with a playful personality and a big heart. She’s smart, loyal, and loves being close to her people — she’s happiest when she feels part of the family.
Personality & Habits
Daisy is house-trained and sleeps peacefully through the night until her humans wake up. She has two bursts of energy during the day — in the mornings (7–9 a.m.) and evenings (8–10 p.m.) — when she loves to play, explore, and enjoy her surroundings. The rest of the day, she’s calm and relaxed, often resting or quietly observing.
She’s an alert little guardian and will bark at strangers or unfamiliar animals, but she understands when told to stop and quickly settles down.
What She Loves
Cuddles! Daisy absolutely loves affection and being petted. She’s used to sleeping in bed with her foster parents and isn’t accustomed to sleeping alone. She’s very social and will gently ask for attention if another dog is getting petted too.
🐾 Training & Behavior
- House-trained
- Leash-trained — walks nicely and knows it’s time to go out when she sees the leash
- Travels well in the car — she now rides calmly in the back seat
- Not destructive — she only chews on blankets, and has toys to redirect that habit
- Comes when called and never tries to run away
- Calms down quickly after playtime, especially once things settle around her
Routine
Daisy sleeps through the night and wakes up with her humans in the morning, ready to start a new day full of love and play.

FAQ
Where are you located / Is there a shelter I can visit?
We are a foster-based rescue, which means we operate without a shelter or office. Every animal we help is cared for in a foster home. Most of our fosters and volunteers are located in and around San Isidro de El General, Pérez Zeledón, in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.
Can I visit the animals available for adoption?
Yes! Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate a meet-and-greet with the foster home.

There are two possible reasons:
1. We haven’t had time to upload the animal to the website, but it may still be available.
2. The animal is in a foster-to-adopt trial or has already found a home. You’re still welcome to apply using our general adoption application. Then we can match you with a similar dog / cat.Are you a officially registered non-profit organization?
Yes! Charlies Angels Resque is officially registered under the legal name Asociación Charlie’s Angels CR, cédula jurídica 3-002-757592.
How are you funded?
We rely entirely on donations from generous individuals and the occasional fundraising. Every contribution makes a big difference. For more informatiopn visit our DONATION PAGE
Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Unfortunately, we can't issue tax-deductible receipts for donations made to our Costa Rican Bank Account or PayPal.
However, we’re supported by Friends of Charlie’s Angels Costa Rica, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the U.S. This allows U.S. donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support our rescue work in Costa Rica.
