At 13lbs, Mia is currently one of the smallest adult dogs we have available for adoption.

Mia was thrown from a moving car and landed on the road, spraining her back leg and badly bruising her hip.

She was reported to us and we agreed to take her to our vet.

Fortunately, she did not need surgery. With lots of care and love, Mia fortunately made a full recovery!

She is a very sweet natured little dog who is affectionate and loyal to her humans.

She lives in a foster home with two teenagers and many other dogs.

Mia gets on with everyone and is very playful!

We don't know anything about her behaviour towards cats as the foster family doesn't have any.

Mia is used to living in a house with a fully fenced yard and this would be important for her as she likes to go for walks on her own around the neighbourhood when she can sneak out.

If Mia is the right dog for you, please fill out our adoption application and we will contact you to schedule an appointment at our rescue centre in Rivas / Perez Zeledón.

If you can't make it here, we can send the puppy to you!
