Meet Maya, the Sweet and Loyal Companion!

 

Maya and her puppy Chloe were rescued from an abandoned house in Rivas, where both were underweight and neglected.

Thanks to a loving foster home, they’re now healthy, happy, and ready for their forever families!

 

Maya is a petite, gentle lady who would be a wonderful companion in almost any setting. 

 

Though she’s about 3-4 years old, she still has a playful spirit and an adorable “booty shake” that she shows off every time she sees her favorite people! 

 

Here’s a bit more about Maya:

 

• Super sweet and affectionate; loves being petted

• Good on and off leash; enjoys exploring but stays close

• Potty trained and well-behaved indoors

• Small enough to fit in a cabin carrier for air travel

• Sleeps through the night, usually on a cozy blanket by the bed (not much of a bed sleeper herself)

 

She does best with calm, gentle humans who let her come to them. She’s okay with people she trusts petting her, though it helps if she can see you coming—she sometimes startles if touched unexpectedly, like when sleeping.

 

She’s been good with meeting other dogs and loves her daily walks. With her calm and friendly demeanor, Maya is the ideal dog for anyone who wants a small, loving, and well-behaved companion who’s happy simply being by your side.
